Blood on the Dance Floor are an American electronica group-turned-duo that formed in 2007. Originally starting after mainman Dahvie Vanity met Christopher Mongillo and Rebecca Fugate, they’ve released five albums despite on-going line-up changes and fights: after Fugate and Mongillo left due to being unable to tour, Vanity recruited Garrett Ecsatsy - who himself was kicked out amidst accusations that he was stealing from Vanity.
Finally, Vanity met Jayy Von Monroe - someone who would prove to be the missing piece for the pair, who could finally focus on their music. 2012 saw them release their latest record ‘Evolution’, and it became the first of theirs to chart, hitting #42 in the US Billboard 200. Blood On The Dance Floor have just unveiled their latest track, the anthemic 'Hell On Heels (Givin’ in to Sin),' featuring the California punk rock band New Year's Day, which comes from the duo's upcoming EP, 'The Anthem of the Outcast'.
As they gear up for their national 'The Scene Is Dead' Autumn tour, Blood on the Dance Floor will also be releasing the 'Anthem Of The Outcast' EP on October 30th. Not only is this the band’s first official release in the UK but it also drops right before their first run of UK shows which includes a main stage slot at the sold out UK Warped Tour and also a recently upgraded London headline show, previously at 229, now at Kings College.
