Festival No. 6 is a brand new music festival held in Portmeirion, in North Wales. Taking place in September, it sees a mixture of rock, indie, folk, dance, and a load of other genres performing at one of the most scenic destinations in the festival scene - in it’s own words, ‘you can sleep in a castle, a tipi or your own tent... watch a headline band in the lush gardens, catch a comedian in the historical town hall, stroll to a string ensemble on the estuary promenade or lose yourself to your favourite DJ.
On it’s 2012 debut, it was headlined by New Order and Primal Scream, and went on to pick up a prestigious NME Award for Best Small Festival, and was hailed as ‘something special’. It’s 2013 edition is set to be another wicked event, and sees Manic Street Preachers, James Blake, and many more lined-up to perform. The award-winning Festival No. 6 has announced Chic ft. Nile Rodgers and a second raft of stellar line-up additions, ahead of revealing their final announcements in May. Festival No.6 is a pioneering festival concept bringing together music, arts and culture. Festival No.6 takes place over the weekend of 13th-15th September, 2013 in the eccentric surrounds of Portmeirion, Wales.
Following its inaugural year Festival No.6 has been awarded both 'Best New Festival' and 'Best Headline Performance' from New Order at this years UK Festival Awards.

It is not at all uncommon for new festivals to make their mark on the summer event circuit, and stealing in at the end of the 2012 summer to stake its claim will be the debut of the unique Festival No. 6. Taking place in the incomparably gorgeous surroundings of Portmeirion in the Welsh countryside, this unique concept festival has amassed an intriguing array of artists to perform in its first year.
