Alexandra Burke is an English singer-songwriter and dancer hailing from Islington, London. Born in 1988, she found fame after winning the fifth series of The X Factor back in 2008, earning her her first deals with Syco and Epic.
Releasing her debut album ‘Overcome’ in 2009, she would become a major success here in the UK and Europe, picking up a double-platinum disc and cementing her place in British music. Then signed to RCA, she released her second record ‘Heartbreak on Hold’ in 2012.
