Belle and Sebastian are an indie band from Glasgow.
Formed in 1996, the band recorded demos whilst at Stow College, which led to the college’s label Electric Honey releasing their debut album ‘Tigermilk’ in 1996. They've released 10 LPs to date, including their breakthrough album ‘The Boy With The Arab Strap’ and, most recently, 'Late Developers' in 2023. The band have headlined their own shows and tours across the globe, and have played some of the Europe's most well known festivals, including Latitude, Glastonbury, Primavera Sound and Green Man. Belle and Sebastian will host a special Glasgow Weekender at SWG3 Galvanizers Yard in August 2024, featuring CMAT, Camera Obscura and more, before returning to Australia later that month.
