Blitz Kids are an English rock band hailing from Nantwich that formed back in 2006. Consisting of frontman Joe James, guitarist Jono Yates, Nic Montgomery on bass, and Matt Freer on drums - who replaced original member Eddie Hawx in late 2012 - the band have two studio albums under their belt.
Having released 'Scavengers' and 'Decisions' - two EPs - they earned some studio time from Hassle Records, and recorded their debut album 'Vagrants & Vagabonds' in 48 hours. Having toured and performed at festivals for the ensuing two years, they would hit the studio to record their second, 'The Good Youth'. Following it's release in January 2014, the band lined-up a UK tour for September and October, ripping through a series of shows across the country. In 2015, despite Blitz Kids organising a summer tour, the guys have confirmed that they'll be splitting, and binned the dates in favour of two farewell shows in Manchester and London in October 2015.
