C O L U M N S is an American death metal and grindcore outfit hailing from Charlotte, North Carolina. Formed in 2003, the band consists of frontman Adam Cody, guitarist Michael Lehmann, bassist Jake Wade, and drummer Jason Skipper.
Originally started as an instrumental band until Cody joined in ‘04, the band steadily progressed releaseing three track, five track, and seven track collections as the years went by. Their hardcore sound earned them a deal with Relapse Records in 2013, with new LP ‘Please Explode’ set for a release in mid-2014.
