Capercaillie are a Scottish folk and celtic music outfit hailing from Oban. Formed in 1984 by frontwoman Karen Matheson and keyboard-player Donald Shaw, it also currently consists of Charlie McKerron, Michael McGoldrick, Manus Lunny, Ewen Vernal, Che Beresford, and David Robertson.
Signed to Vertical Records, the band have released eleven studio albums, ranging from their ‘84 debut ‘Cascade’ to their most recent effort ‘At The Heart Of It All’, which hit shelves in 2013.
