Chronixx, real name Jamar Rolando McNaughton Jr, is a Jamaican reggae and dancehall musician from St. Catherine.
Starting his music career in 2003, her released his debut EP, ‘Hooked on Chronixx’, in 2011, followed by a mixtape, ‘Start a Fire’, with Major Lazer and Walshy Fire, and a second EP, ‘Dread & Terrible’, in 2014. He released a second mixtape, ‘Roots & Chalice’, in 2016, with Federation Sound. He released his debut album, ‘Chronology’, in spring 2017, via Soul Circle Music, followed by a string of singles in 2019. He has headlined his own shows and tours across the UK, including a show as part of the Somerset House Summer Series and an appearance at Glastonbury Festival.
