Very Happy Very Happy helloo!!

well, what can I say, it was the best show ever! we were far away when the support band (kraftwerk) started.. but after they finished I made it to the front Cool my siblings didn't join me.. they're "too old" for that Laughing and my friend is pregnant, so I was alone during the concert -- the funny part though, is that the people around me were just as excited as I was, and we were grinning and crying, and hugging each other (to jump higher).. we all shared the same feeling Very Happy

It was soooooo good, they played 26 songs, about 2.30hs. I was close to Ed.. I sang and jumped and got crushed 1000 times Laughing but it was all worth it!

my sister took pics and recorded videos, shame she was far from the stage, but well that's better than nothing at all..

*I'm still in Limbo* :mr green:

you can save them if you like, we'll still keep this forum available somewhere but there'll be a new PM system.

Evolution.

Create a brand new community which specialises in music. Not a forum, something new...you could take the aspects that make a forum appealing & blend it with an aspect of the social networking websites to come up with something unique.

I think the Stereoboard has had it's day (no offence).

Aim to create something groundbreaking Nige, you certainly have the ability & skills to do so.

think you're right mate - this forum is no longer relevant... it's been left behind.

what i'm working on (slowly) is something which brings together all the twitters/facebooks/last.fm of this world into a social space... right here.

it's a few months away though. any ideas would be appreciated.

I think fundamentally, simplicity is a huge draw these days. Although obviously, the right balance has to be found where you can sustain the interest & appeal.

A possible idea. Say you've been to a gig...a website where you can go & showcase your experience, a few photos, share with others on the network. Provide a real focus into the live aspect of music. Probably a blend of blogging & the social networking of facebook...you can add friends & see what gigs they have been to/going to, interact with them etc.

There's certainly a niche in the market for something like that. The amount of people who attend gigs, the potential success of something like the above is pretty high.
