I wanted to see Howl's moving castle again so I downloaded it... and it was fine until the last minute! Evil or Very Mad Evil or Very Mad the quality went really poor, it had the english AND spanish subtitles at the same time, and they started to speak super fast, (like squirrels, if you have that expression) Confused

Rolling Eyes damn!

i haven't posted for a while, so i'll make it quick

Hard Candy - quite interesting and chilling

The Last Kiss - i really liked it, it was very genuine and real

Transamerica - Felicity Huffman blew me away

Get Smart - i liked the series when i was a kid and this is quite a loyal film version. alan arkin steals his scenes. look out for his exclamation that starts with "holy shit! holy shit!" Laughing

The Happening - i wanted to like it as much as i liked 'the 6th sense', but.... it's certainly better than 'the village' and it has some great jump-in-your-chair moments, but something's missing

and today i saw a little film about a certain archaeologist after a 19-year break. i've never seen an indy film on a big screen and i love the trilogy, so i was like a giddy kid Laughing and oh my god! it's worth the wait, there's fun, there's action, there's adventure, it's so clearly a labour of love for everyone involved and it has little treats, winks and nudges for fans of the trilogy in it.
indy's older (and he's not afraid or ashamed to admit it), but he is still one of the coolest guys ever! i was very sceptical when they announced it, but now i'm very happy they decided to do it.
indeed.. "it's not the years, it's the mileage" Cool

I didn't know there was a movie of Get Smart! I used to watch that show as a kid Very Happy

I watched The Prestige the other night.. Excelent movie Cool

OH! *edits* also, I watched Stanley Kubrick's The Shining, which I haven't seen before. is amazing how Jack Nicholson can get scary with just looking at someone in a different way..

Now that I've seen it, I remember some Simpsons episode, or Massive attack's Karmacoma videoclip.. I think I've been told about the resemblance between them but i tend to forget things. Laughing
