Stereophonics have been back together to rehearse some new material.
The band, who have been promoting new live album 'Live From Dakota', have been having a break from a heavy touring schedule. The new ideas have left the band 'excited', but fans will have to wait before hearing any new songs.
Drummer Javier said "Even though we've been doing some promo for the new album we havn't rehearsed for a while now. But last weekend we got together. Went over some songs and we started trying out some new ideas. We are excited with what we've got, but I'm not saying anything else. You will have to wait!"
He went on to say: "It was great catching up and getting together to play without any pressure. Without having a real person behind it. Just jamming. Having a laugh. Isn't that what it's all about? It reminded me of when I started playing for the first time. Kelly brought a cassette recorder and we end up using it to tape the rehearsals."
Stereophonics do not currently have any tour or festival plans but are expected to return to the studio shortly to begin work on the follow-up to 2005's 'Language. Sex. Violence. Other?'
