Oasis singer Liam Gallagher has been coming to terms with the bands inevitable decline since their 90's heydey.
The veteran rockers released latest album 'Don't Believe The Truth' last year to relatively modest success, a distant memory from 1995's 16m-selling 'What's The Story (Morning Glory)', which propelled the band on to worldwide fame.
Liam said, "What bothers me is that we're not the biggest band in the world any more."
"U2, the Stones, even Coldplay are bigger than us."
Liam also spoke fondly of new indie darlings The Arctic Monkeys, but admitted that the band make him feel slightly awkward due to the age differences.
Speaking about band frontman Alex Turner, Gallagher said: "I like him, I do, and he is definitely a bit of a genius lyricist, but he is still a kid,"
"He was eight when 'Definitely Maybe' came out. What am I, a 38-year-old supposed to say to that? They make me feel awkward.
