The Script Sell Out 60,000 Tickets for Ireland Tour in Under 40 Minutes

Irish indie pop act The Script have broken box office records in their native land by selling over 60,000 tickets in just 40 minutes to become the fastest selling live act in Ireland in 2010.

Tickets for the band's Ireland shows, taking place in March 2011, were snapped up in minutes for the trio's three originally scheduled Irish dates. Despite adding four additional dates for their March tour they still couldn’t satisfy fans demand for tickets with all extra gigs being sold out in less than one hour.

The Script March 2011 Tour is as follows:

Friday 4th KILARNEY, INEC SOLD OUT
Saturday 5th KILARNEY, INEC SOLD OUT
Monday 7th BELFAST, Odyssey Arena SOLD OUT
Tuesday 8th BELFAST, Odyssey Arena SOLD OUT
Thursday 10th DUBLIN, The O2 SOLD OUT
Friday 11th DUBLIN, The O2 SOLD OUT
Saturday 12th DUBLIN, The O2 SOLD OUT

The Script’s brand new album 'Science and Faith' has taken both the Irish and UK album charts by storm shooting to the No 1 position on its first week of release.
