Ticket Scams - Michael Buble, the Eagles, Post Malone, Little Mix, JLS - Sites To Avoid

Despite the best efforts of Action Fraud, Citizens Advice Bureau, The Office of Fair Trading, the Police and Governmental task forces to combat it, international ticket fraudsters are still operating within the UK and recent figures report that 1 in 10 people have been a victim of ticket fraud.

To do our bit we've collated a list of potential threats to be aware of when purchasing tickets online. The following ticket sites, listed below, we believe to be online scams. These web sites may advertise through Google to lure unsuspecting victims. Various accounts of consumer fraud have been reported to Stereoboard.com regarding these operations.

Remember: Just because the artist name may appear in the domain, and the site looks professional or official, this does not mean that it's legitimate or to be trusted!

We'd strongly urge you to only use ticket sellers linked from Stereoboard's main ticket and event pages.

Our advice is to avoid using the following ticket sites listed below. Although they are not obvious scams, they are suspected to sell tickets they do not possess and there are various and regular reports of fans being left without tickets and no offers of refunds. In addition, some of these resale sites have processed orders successfully for months, or even years, before falling into administration and disappearing with fans' money. We'd advise extreme caution before using any ticket sites listed below, most of these sites may now have closed or disappeared.

Stereoboard have produced a viral video to warn fans against disreputable scam ticketing sites. ‘Access All Areas’, which has received over 30,000 views so far, follows the fate of a group of music fans who opt to go ‘off road’ obtaining their tickets unofficially, in the hope of blagging their way backstage at a major gig.

They ultimately get left out in the cold in the video. The film can we viewed at www.youtube.com/StereoboardTV or you can view the video below.
