Black Eyed Peas Set For Massive Stadium Tour In 2011

The Black Eyed Peas look set to announce a massive tour for 2011, following the November 30th release of their forthcoming new album 'The Beginning'.

Set to embark on their biggest tour yet, The Black Eyed Peas hinted that a huge tour was in the pipeline when Will.i.am revealed to Billboard.com that the band's recent stadium gigs in South America were a test to prep them for a big 2011.

"South America was a test. We did all our homework...to try to figure out how we can do stadiums in other countries, in America, in Europe. If Black Eyed Peas can do five O2 Arenas (in London), why don't we just do it in one shot? If we can do three Staples Centers, we should do one Dodger Stadium. So that's how we'll probably tour this time around."

Will.i.am also spoke about how he considers a stadium to be “the best one yet” for a Black Eyed Peas show. "It's like you're there with all your friends. You're there in front of 50,000 people and they're there to watch you and your friends. Nothing gets any better than that. It's the best feeling, the best one yet."

Following this morning's confirmation that The Black Eyed Peas will perform at the Super Bowl halftime show, the band will plan to showcase 'The Beginning' out on tour “after February.”

Stereoboard will bring you more details about The Black Eyed Peas' 2011 tour as soon as an announcement is made.
