Arcade Fire To Play London Hyde Park Gig This Summer

Canadian indie rock titans Arcade Fire are set to announce a huge UK outdoor gig this summer, according to Internet reports.

The band, who released their third album, 'The Suburbs', to critical acclaim last year along with a sell out arena tour in December 2010, are set to return to the UK to play a massive show at Hyde Park in London on Thursday June 30th 2011. The date also fuels speculation that Arcade Fire could be headlining this year's Glastonbury Festival.

We also understand Win Bulter and co will release a new single and album in March 2011, with details yet to be confirmed on whether the LP will be a studio or live release. 'City With No Children' from latest album The Suburbs is set for release on March 14th, with the as yet to be confirmed album on March 28th.

Tickets for Arcade Fire's Hyde Park show are set to go onsale next Friday, January 28th, at 9am.

Stereoboard will bring you further information as we receive it.
