X-Factor's Aiden Grimshaw Cancels May 2011 UK Shows

Having announced a UK tour last Friday, Aiden Grimshaw, the X Factor finalist who proved popular with both the judges and the public during the show's seventh series, has cancelled the run of live shows planned for May.
Despite being eliminated from X Factor's seventh series during the sixth week of the “talent” competition, Aiden Grimshow still proved to be hugely popular amongst fans of the show. Since leaving the programme he has played a handful of concerts around the country, including a home-coming gig in the familiar surroundings of The Syndicate in Blackpool.
Following the run of successful gigs, last Friday Aiden announced a run of O2 Academy shows for May 2011. Following ticket sales earlier this week on Monday morning, it has now been announced that the shows have been cancelled. Refunds are available from point of purchase.
