British hard rockers Def Leppard have revealed via their official website that a major announcement is coming soon.
The post, which appeared on the Sheffield band's website www.defleppard.com/news yesterday says: “The countdown is on for Def Leppard to make a MAJOR announcement to the world! Stay tuned, DefLeppard.com will be reporting official news soon.....!”
Sources have reported that Def Leppard are planning to hit the road once again following the release of a brand new live album and box set in May 2011. Culled from their 2009 tour and featuring three brand new tracks, the currently-untitled new live album is rumoured to be followed by a two-month US summer tour alongside Kansas and Heart.
With perfomance slots still waiting to be filled at the UK's Download, High Voltage and Sonisphere Festivals, could we see Def Leppard announcing a live return to the UK later this year?
