The View, Two Door Cinema Club, Kassidy & More To Play 5-A-Side Charity Football Tournament Tomorrow

The View are to participate in the first ever DF Concerts Charity Cup football tournament. Staged at Soccerworld in Glasgow, the tournament is being held to raise money for the ‘Save The Children Japan Emergency Appeal’ which is focusing its efforts on helping those children most affected by the recent earthquake and tsunami in Japan.

This year’s tournament will be held on Friday 25th March with matches starting at midday and each team entering is to donate £100 to the charity. The tournament is due to finish at 5pm with an award ceremony to be held at King Tuts afterwards.
 
Soccerworld Glasgow is at Junction 11 off the M8, Croftcroighn Road, G33 3SE.
 
Other teams featuring include Two Door Cinema Club, We Were Promised Jetpacks, Kassidy as well as a host of concert venues in Glasgow including King Tuts, The ABC and The Arches.
