‘X Factor’ finalist Cher Lloyd has revealed that her upcoming debut album is inspired by dubstep. The young singer gave a rare interview to Wonderland magazine, unveiling a new fiery-haired look for the feature (see photo on the right-hand side of this article). The singer, who is currently due to return to the studio to work on more tracks with producer RedOne, talked about her upcoming album, stating that “as long as I get my Number One, I’ll be the happiest person alive”.

Speaking about the influences on the album, Lloyd told Wonderland magazine: "I love James Blake...Tracey Chapman. What else have I got? I'm majorly into dubstep."
The singer, who has recently been in hot water with patron Will.i.am over her attitude, also declared that being famous hasn’t changed her way of thinking about life. She said: "Some days I wake up and completely forget the position that I'm in. So I'll think that it's all right to stroll out and go shopping on my own. And then I walk out and realise that, no, it's not. People frown at me for walking into Primark or River Island. I don't understand why. I'm still gonna carry on, I'm not going to change. Now and again I'll go into a posh shop and treat myself, but I'm still a high street girl."
Lloyd continued: "I'm not going to jail for it, hopefully. As long as I get my No.1, I'll be the happiest person alive, no matter how hard it's going to be for me. I'm just a normal 17-year-old girl and I do have major feelings. Sometimes stuff people say really affects me, whether it's about the way I look or the way that I'm acting. It can get me really stressed out. And it's like, give me a little break. A week of somebody being nice to me would be lovely."
