Legendary LA rockers Jane’s Addiction have announced a show at London's Koko for Tuesday 30th August. The KOKO show will follow the band's headline performance on the NME/Radio 1 Stage at the Reading and Leeds Festival.
The announcement of the London date comes hot-on-the-heels of the unveiling of the video to new track ‘End to the Lies’, taken from their forthcoming album ‘The Great Escape Artist’.
Speaking about the video, Jane’s Addiction guitarist Dave Navarro said: “I'm really happy to work on this video for ‘End To The Lies’ with Alex [Bulkley of ShadowMachine Films]. He clearly gets what Jane's Addiction is about and the roots of where we came from. We came up in a very artistic community. This video encompasses that through merging LA streets and street artists with sexuality and the beauty of music. There is no better way to define what this band has always been about.” Check out the video below.
Jane’s Addiction are to release their long-awaited fourth album ‘The Great Escape Artist’ in August this year. It will be the band’s first release in eight years following 2003’s ‘Strays’.
Jane’s Addiction will be headlining the NME/Radio 1 Stage at the Reading and Leeds festivals in August.
Jane's Addiction UK Live Dates are as follows:
August 2011
Aug 27th – Reading Festival
Aug 28th – Leeds Festival
