New-Jersey four-piece rock outfit Monster Magnet have announced two UK shows for November.
Formed in 1989; fusing a template born of metal, punk, space rock and psychedelic influences, New Jersey's Monster Magnet have been known for their full-on rock sound since the release of their first album 'Spine of God' in 1992.
Since then, according to Rolling Stone, they've been “ripping it up coast-to-coast with their witty, stoner-inflected lyrics and warped, atmospheric blend of psychedelia and classic rock.”
Releasing their 8th studio album, ‘Mastermind’, at the end of last year, the album is best described by main man Dave Wyndorf as “classic rock gone insane!”, a “big, beefy ball of demented anthems and power rock” with “The ballads, trippy and strange. It's guitar heaven."
Catch Monster Magnet unleash tracks from the new album as well as old favourites on the following UK live shows.
Monster Magnet UK Live Dates are as follows:
November 2011
Nov 24th - The Garage, Glasgow
Nov 25th - KOKO, London
Monster Magnet Tickets are onsale Monday 8th August at 9am, priced from £17 + fees (£20 London).
