John McCusker To Join Mark Knopfler & Bob Dylan On Autumn UK Tour

One of Scotland's foremost traditional musicians, John McCusker, is set to perform with Mark Knopfler on his co-headline tour across Europe with Bob Dylan this Autumn.
Winner of the BBC Radio Folk Musician of the Year in 2003, John McCusker started playing the fiddle at the age of seven. Speaking about his confirmed slot with the Mark Knopfler band, McCusker said.
“I'm really delighted to be part of the Mark Knopfler & Bob Dylan European tour in October/November. The tour will take us all over Britain, Ireland and Europe for 7 weeks. It will be great to see and play with Mark and the lads again and also amazing to get to perform in these incredible venues.”

Talking about his recent developments, McCusker continued. “I've been busy in the studio recently playing on lots of folks records. As well as recording on the new Mark Knopfler record, I spent a few days recording with Simon Fowler from Ocean Colour Scene for his solo album..it sounds magic. I will hopefully be playing a few shows with Simon early next year around the release date.”
John McCusker will perform with Mark Knopfler as part of his co-headline tour with folk legend Bob Dylan on all European tour dates.
