Kasabian's Tom Meighan Says Supporting U2 Was "Horrible"

Kasabian frontman Tom Meighan has surprised fans by describing his experience supporting U2 on their massive 360 tour as “horrible” and the “worst ever.”
The band, currently on tour, were enlisted to support U2 as they travelled the world on the year’s biggest tour. But, while most bands would kill for the chance to play at such high profile gigs, Kasabian weren’t so gracious.
“I didn't take in anything supporting them, them gigs were horrible, worst ever,” claimed Meighan. “U2 fans are cardboard cut-outs, can you imagine supporting U2? Their fans are probably into one band and one album - 'The Joshua Tree'.
“I didn't learn anything because that's just a fucking different level. It was amazing to watch and meet them, but I didn't learn anything apart from just get the fuck out.”
He was then asked if playing the gigs felt similar to playing to an empty stadium, and Meighan agreed, going on to say that Kasabian are a headline band.
“We were the support, so it is what it is. I hate supporting bands, we're not a support band. So that's never gonna happen again.”
