Morten Harket, the lead-singer of 1980's legendary band A-Ha, has announced a trio of solo dates for May 2012.
Having released four solo albums to date, Morten Harket will take to the road alone stopping at Manchester's Bridgewater Hall, London's IndigO2 and Birmingham's Symphony Hall in May 2012.
Known for his extraordinary vocal range, which some sources have claimed spans five octaves, Morten Harket lead the multi-million selling A-Ha through nine studio albums. They toured the world and earned a Guinness World Record for the largest ever attendance at a paid concert when they played the Maracana Stadium in Rio De Janeiro in 1991. They are in the elite ‘James Bond theme song club’ and also produced that unforgettable groundbreaking part-animated, part real-time video.
Morten Harket has been cited as inspiration behind a new generation of artists including Robbie Williams, Coldplay, Keane, Kanye West and U2.
