Dappy Recording New Single - With Queen's Brian May

It’s not quite quite as strange as Jack White’s collaboration with clown rappers, but the news that N-Dubz’ Dappy has worked with Queen legend Brian May on his new single may shock or surprise some of you.

But, it is indeed true and the pair are headed to LA to work on the new single, as well as to film a music video for the track. What’s possibly more surprising is the fact that May is actually a big fan of Dappy’s solo work, and even suggested that the rapper deserved an award for his track ‘No Regrets’, which went to #1 back in September.

Dappy said: “He said I deserve an award – I couldn't believe it! So I had to hit him up to work with me. I'm flying to LA in the morning to work on the video with him.”

That’s not the only Queen-related collaborations that you’ll be hearing in the near future – as May revealed that a number of duets involving two deceased superstars – Freddie Mercury and Michael Jackson – would be getting released soon.
