JLS's 3D film extravaganza ‘Eyes Wide Open’, the best attended music cinema event ever recorded in the UK, is set for release on DVD and Blu-Ray (2D and 3D) DVD on December 5th.
‘Eyes Wide Open’ was filmed on the lad’s sold-out UK arena tour and goes behind the scenes to find out from the band themselves exactly what goes into being JLS - as well as amazing concert footage shot at The O2 London earlier this year.
‘Eyes Wide Open’ hit the top five of the UK Box Office chart on the day of release and with unprecedented demand seeing advance ticket sales rocketing, many of the 300 cinemas screening the film nationwide sold out ahead of release. A lot of them were also forced to add extra dates to meet demand, making it the best attended music cinema in UK history.
Having sold over 5million records in just three years and over 1milliion concert tickets, JLS are undoubtedly the UK’s most successful boy-band at the moment. Aston, JB, Oritsé and Marvin have already released two multi-platinum albums and their third album ‘Jukebox’ was released on 14th November. The next single ‘Do You Feel What I’ Feel is out on the 1st January.
