Local Support Acts Confirmed for Jagermeister Music Tour With Skindred & Therapy?

Hawk Eyes, Glamour of the Kill, The Defiled and Turbowolf have been confirmed as support to Skindred, Therapy? and Black Spiders at this year’s Jagermeister Music Tour in April. Also, the Glasgow date at O2 ABC on Wednesday 11th April has now been upgraded to the O2 Academy due to exceptional demand.
Leeds-based metallers Hawk Eyes, who will be kicking off the tour at their hometown’s O2 Academy on Tuesday 10th April said: “Having listened to these bands in our youth, we never thought that one day we would be sharing a stage with them. It's an honour to open up what promises to be a sterling night.”
York’s Glamour of the Kill added: “We are really excited to be joining up with the bands in Newcastle on this year’s Jagermeister Tour. The line-up is mind blowing and Skindred never fail to impress with their live show. We will be in the studio writing our second album which is sounding huge. We can’t wait to unleash these new songs to you guys, so let’s raise those glasses high and party hard Newcastle.”
London-based rockers The Defiled are set to open for the headliners at Brixton O2 Academy on Friday 13th April. The band’s keyboard player The AvD said: “I got to see Therapy? at Sonisphere 2010 and they absolutely killed it. As for Skindred... they are immaculate live every time. We are definitely looking forward to hanging out all night and making a proper night of it.”
Finally, Bristol’s Turbowolf will be playing on the closing night of the tour. Vocalist Chris Georiadis said: “This gig is gonna be awesome. We can't wait to make a huge amount of noise and tear the place down with some furious psychedelic punk grooves. Let's do this.”
