Barack Obama Joins Mick Jagger, BB King And Buddy Guy For Short Performance

US President Barack Obama has cemented his place as the coolest president to have ever walked the earth, after once again showcasing his showmanship skills with a brief performance of ‘Sweet Home Chicago’ during an event at the White House.

Earlier this year, Obama managed to help raise sales of Al Green’s ‘Let’s Stay Together’ by 490% after giving a rather impromptu performance of the track at a fundraiser, which can be seen all over YouTube. But, Obama’s not a one trick horse – and all it took was a little convincing from Buddy Guy to get him to belt out a few lines from ‘Sweet Home Chicago’.

Obama took over microphone duties at the end of another event in the White House to thank BB King, Mick Jagger and the band for performing, when Guy told Obama ‘we were trying to get you to help us sing that! Because I heard you sing with Al Green, so when you’ve started something, you’ve gotta keep it up!’ While the crowd jeered him on and Obama started to blush, Guy shouted ‘C’mon! You can do it!’ – and that was enough to get Barack back on the microphone.

After singing a few lines, Obama walked off to high five some of the crowd members and most likely slipped on some badass shades. Check the video out below.
