The star-studded line-up for the Teenage Cancer Trust's twelfth annual music and comedy gigs at the Royal Albert Hall has been confirmed with the likes of Roger Daltrey, Paul McCartney, Example, Pulp, Jessie J, Jason Manford and Florence And The Machine all giving special live performances between March 28th and April 3rd. Teenage Cancer Trust Tickets are ONSALE 9.30AM TODAY, Friday 24th February.
Stars from the world of rock, pop and comedy will shake the iconic London Royal Albert Hall between 28th March and 3rd April, as part of the annual Teenage Cancer Trust concerts.
In addition to massive shows by two of Britain's biggest singers and songwriters, Sir Paul McCartney and The Who's Roger Daltrey, next month’s shows will feature two of this year’s Brit Awards nominated female artists Jessie J and Florence And The Machine. Dubstep pioneer, Example, the Teenage Cancer Trust Outstanding Contribution To Music NME Award winners, Pulp and the effortlessly funny, Jason Manford will also be taking their turn on the legendary stage.
Speaking abou the forthcoming concerts, Chris Cotton, Chief Executive at the Royal Albert Hall said: “We are honoured to have supported Teenage Cancer Trust’s concerts since they started here 12 years ago and the electric atmosphere they bring to the Hall. Teenage Cancer Trust consistently bring a world class line up of talent to help raise funds in support of young people who are affected by cancer and this year, to my mind, is their strongest yet. During the week we run music education and art workshops in collaboration with the charity to offer teenagers, who might not otherwise have the opportunity, to work with some of their favourite artists. Come along and be a part of it”
