Courtney Love Drafts In U2's Bono For New Home Character Reference

Courtney Love has had some troubles in her past, but appears her trouble sorting out a house has become the biggest right now – after it emerged that she had to draft in Irish rockstar Bono to write a character reference just so she could move into a new house.

Love had recently become involved in a lawsuit involving a previous landlady, who accused her of trashing her apartment in New York, but came out victorious. She now claims to be an angel when it comes to taking care of her abode, and has said that she’s only ever even had one noise complaint – and it was simply from watching a film in her room. But, despite winning the lawsuit, she still needed the assistance of Bono to help finalise her move.

“They chose Bono,” Love revealed. “He wrote a paragraph. I've never gotten a noise complaint. It sounds really lame, being a rock star and all. But I haven't. That's not true. I did get one once, when I was living on the sixth floor of the Mercer [Hotel]. I was watching that movie with Nicole Kidman and Jennifer Aniston and Adam Sandler [Just Go With It]. The person next-door called and complained it was too loud.”
