Van Halen’s David Lee Roth has become the latest rockstar to break-up a fight using his onstage presence and microphone – following on from Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl’s epic removal of a fighting fan back in July last year.
The rockers were performing in Manchester (New Hampshire USA's Manchester, not the UK's Manchester!) on Monday when the crowd started getting a bit rowdy, something which Roth wasn’t happy about. When he saw a fight break out, he stopped the show and focussed on stopping it – using one or two swears in the process.
Screaming at the crowd, Roth said: “Knock off the fucking fighting! Fuck you! What do you think this is, a fucking mosh pit? You've got all the best-looking women on the fucking East Coast here and all you can fucking think of is fucking fighting?! Ladies, I’m on your side.”
As you can see, Roth managed to turn the air blue whilst simultaneously attempting to fly the white flag. You can see a clip of the vocalist going nuts below.
