Earl Sweatshirt Makes First Live Appearance With Rap Group Odd Future

Californian rapper Earl Sweatshirt made his first ever live appearance with his rap collective Odd Future last night in New York, after spending a year in Samoan boarding school Coral Reef Academy.
The group were performing in the Manhattan Centre’s Hammerstein Ballroom when Earl walked onstage, to the surprise of the audience – who, as expected, started going crazy. Hodgy Beats then started singing his track ‘Tang Golf’, which features the lyric ‘free Earl from the Samoans’.
The group’s most prominent and notorious member, Tyler, The Creator, then told the crowd: “We waited so long for that shit. You have no idea how awesome this is.” They then went on to perform their tracks 'Orange Juice', 'Assmilk' and 'Kill', with Earl performing his self-titled track ‘Earl’ as the last track following their regular set-closer ‘Radical’.
This means Sweatshirt could potentially perform with the group on their up and coming UK tour, which will see them performing five shows this March and April.
