Funk rock veterans Primus have announced two London Royal Albert Hall shows for next month and you could be in with a chance of seeing the band live on Thursday 5th April in our brand new competition below.
After eight years without a fresh release and over ten years since their last full LP, Primus entered the studio in October 2010 to record ‘Green Naugahyde’, the first album to feature drummer Jay Lane alongside original bassist and vocalist Les Claypool as well as long time guitarist Larry LaLonde.
Having released 'Green Naugahyde' in September last year, the Californian trio will play two dates at London’s Royal Albert Hall next month. Primus UK Live Dates are as follows:
Apr 4th – Royal Albert Hall, London
Apr 5th – Royal Albert Hall, London
Primus are a band who’ve been at the forefront of the alternative rock scene since their debut album ‘Suck on This’ hit shelves in 1989. Since then the band have put out six more albums, and also penned and recorded the infamous theme tune for South Park, which we all know and love. 22 years later and the band are still going strong.
Stereoboard are giving away two tickets to see Primus live at the Royal Albert Hall on Thursday 5th April. Primus will be playing two “Greatest Hits” sets at the concert, which will span their back catalogue.
