The Wombats To Support Red Hot Chili Peppers At Sunderland & Knebworth Concerts

The Wombats are the latest act confirmed to join Red Hot Chili Peppers at Knebworth Park on Saturday 23rd June and Sunderland Stadium of Light on Sunday 24th June. The Liverpudlian trio are the final band to be confirmed for the Knebworth Park date with one remaining special guest to be announced for Sunderland Stadium of Light.
Following the release of their tenth studio album 'I’m With You' last summer and a sold out UK arena tour last Autumn, US rock icons Red Hot Chili Peppers will return to the UK in June for two massive open-air shows - their only UK dates of 2012. The band have also confirmed a show at Dublin's Croke Park.
Red Hot Chili Peppers will take to the stage at Knebworth Park, Stevenage on Saturday 23rd June, Stadium of Light, Sunderland on Sunday 24th June 2012 and Croke Park, Dublin on June 26th.
