The Draymin Announce Debut Album Release

Critically acclaimed Scottish dance-rockers The Draymin have today announced that they’ll be releasing their debut album ‘Should’ve Known Better’ on April 2nd.

Also announced was a 12 date UK tour throughout England and Scotland, which will support the release of the album. The tour will include performances at the esteemed club night This Feeling and at this year’s RockNess Festival.

‘Should’ve Known Better’ is the culmination of seven years of hard work, passion and determination by The Draymin, who after many years on the unsigned circuit are now considered ‘the best unsigned band in Scotland’ by Radio Clyde’s Jim Gellatly. The band are now set to independently release their debut album ‘Should’ve Known Better’ through Townsend Records, much to the anticipation of their loyal fan base.

The album was recorded in Lofi Studios (the Glaswegian version of Abby Road) where The Draymin utilized both modern and retro studio techniques such as the use of a rare original early 60's Watkins Copycat delay on acoustic bonus track, ‘The Waves’.

The Draymin are well established on the festival scene with performances including SXSW, T In The Park, In The City, Liverpool Soundcity, Go North, Live at Loch Lomond, Wickerman and Tramlines. This year, the band are on the road again, playing 12 headline shows across the UK in cities including Glasgow, London, Leeds, Sheffield, Edinburgh, Dundee, Aberdeen.
