Canadian rapper Drake has revealed that he wants to collaborate with Barbados-born beauty Rihanna again – with the star this time planning to work on an album instead of just a single with the ‘Talk That Talk’ singer.
Drake is quickly becoming one of the most recognised names to come from North America and his fusion of hip-hop, pop and R&B earned him the #2 spot in MTV’s Hottest MCs in the Game earlier this year. And, as well as a performer and songwriter, the star is a frequent collaborator with some of the world’s most famous artists, including Lil Wayne, Kanye West, Eminem – and Rihanna.
Speaking to Capital FM, Drake revealed: “Yeah, I mean anytime [Rihanna] wants to work I'm there, you know. I've always urged her to let me come and really work on an album for her, with her. I feel like I could do some great writing for her.”
He continued: “Actually, the Rita Ora song that's out right now was originally for Rihanna. I've got some great ideas so, you know, hopefully when the time is right she'll send me that text or call me up and say, 'Hey let's get in the studio for a month and make an album', and we can do it.”
