Wet Nuns Announce Record Store Day Single Release

Blues-punk duo Wet Nuns have announced that they’ll be releasing an exclusive Record Store Day 7” single.

Record Store Day takes place on April 21st and will see the band releasing their tracks ‘Heaven’s Below’ and ‘Throttle’ on one seven inch vinyl record to celebrate. They’ll also be performing in-store at Rough Trade East to coincide – so make sure you get yourself down for a one-off chance to see the two musicians live.

The 7" record will combine the two singles, which can be heard below, and is everything you’ve come to expect from this big-riffing, crowd-surfing, cursing, death-blues duo, with their trademark stomach-churning guitars and downright ugly drumming stamped all over.

Having been on the road since February, including as support to Pulled Apart By Horses, Wet Nuns continue their trail-blazing tour with added dates at The Great Escape Festival, Crooked Ways Festival and Simple Things Festival this May.

If you haven’t witnessed a Wet Nuns show yet, then you’ve missed something awe-inspiring. The two-piece from Sheffield have been blowing venues around the UK apart with their hell-bent explosion of songs about “women, death and beer”.

You can catch them in London’s Blues Kitchen tonight – check the link below for tickets.
