'I May Have Ended Up Like Whitney Had I Not Kicked Cocaine', Says Sir Elton John

Sir Elton John has confessed that if he was to have continued taking cocaine, he could have ended up like late superstar singer Whitney Houston, who accidentally drowned in her hotel bathroom after taking drugs.
Houston was a known user of drugs, and cocaine was one of her favourites - coroners even found coke in her system after she died. Now, Elton has told the The Daily Mail that he’s glad he kicked his habit – adding that he could have died had he not given it up.
“I'd probably be dead,” John told fans. I didn't want to end up like Whitney Houston and I could so easily have ended up like her. It's a miracle I didn't because I'm sure I did as much cocaine as she ever did.”
In recent Elton John news, the star singer and pianist revealed how he was bullied by three people who ‘very important’ to his life – even after he became a famous superstar.
Sir Elton said: “Even though I was famous and a big deal, it doesn't matter, it's who you are underneath that, and I was always kind of shy and intimidated… One was violent and the other two were mentally violent. They were very important people in my life. They were important people in my career and in my personal life.”
