Slash Admits He'd 'Love To F*cking Play' At Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame Induction

The much talked about mystery as to whether Guns N Roses will perform at their Rock n Roll Hall of Fame may have taken another turn after guitar god Slash revealed that he’d ‘love to fucking play’ at the ceremony – but frontman Axl Rose ‘hates his guts’.
The ceremony is just under two weeks away but no-one truly knows as to whether the original line-up of the band will actually get together one last time – though it seems extremely unlikely following Slash’s recent comments, where he told QMI: “I know that we're not playing.” But, now he’s claimed he ‘would love to fucking play’, and feels it is an ‘obligation’ for the band to be present - before adding that it was 'something that's not going to happen.
He told The Rolling Stone: “This is a subject I'm dead sick of talking about. Everyone has been asking me what's going to happen, and they know as much as I do. I feel you're totally obligated to be present and I would love to fucking play, but it's just something that's not going to happen for whatever reason.”
He went on to say that he thinks GnR vocalist and frontman Axl Rose hates his guts – which is probably the only obstacle stopping the band from performing at the ceremony.
“He hates my guts. It's over a lot of different stuff; I don't even know. There's just no communication between us. I talk to [bassist] Duff McKagan and Steven [former Guns N' Roses drummer], but when it comes to old Guns N' Roses, there really isn't anybody that makes decisions.”
The new-look Guns n Roses are touring the UK this year – so if you’re a fan, make sure you don’t miss out. Check the dates and details below for more information.
