Justin Young, frontman of indie rockers The Vaccines, has revealed that the band have been working extremely hard on what will be their sophomore album – and have ended up with 'too many songs' for the record.
The band only put out their debut album 'What Did You Expect From The Vaccines?' in 2010 last year, and feared that they may not be able to come up with the goods once again, but now it seems they've recorded surplus amounts of songs – which Young said was 'no bad thing'.
Speaking to The BBC, Young said: “I was really worried going into the second record that it would be a case of not having enough songs but the thing that's keeping me awake at night is having too many songs, which is no bad thing.”
He went on to say that new tracks 'Teenage Icon', 'No Hope' and 'Bad Mood' were 'all done and they're going to be on the record because we love them.'
If you're a fan of The Vaccines, make sure you catch them on their up and coming UK tour.
