Bjork Cancels Two Argentinian Shows After Discovering Nodule In Throat

Icelandic singer-songwriter Bjork has been forced to cancel two shows in Argentina after discovering a nodule on her vocal cords.

The singer is currently touring her eighth studio record 'Biophilia' and was due to be performing in Argentina's Buenos Aires Centro de Exposiciones, where she currently holds a residency. But, the final two performances have been called off – after she contracted the illness, which has also recently affected Adele.

Posting via Facebook, Bjork wrote: “I'm sorry to say that I have a nodule on my vocal chords and therefore cannot complete the Buenos Aires gigs. It is a shame as I really love the city and would have loved to stay longer. I hope I can go back soon.”

It's unknown how serious the illness is and whether she'll have to go under the knife – so stay with Stereoboard to stay up-to-date on Bjork and her condition.

The star singer has a number of live dates across Europe and the world line-up for the rest of the year. If you want to find out more, check out the link below.
