Michael Jackson To Get Hologram Treatment For Jackson 5 Tour?

Late King of Pop Michael Jackson could be the next star to be brought back to life by the incredible new hologram technology which was used to reanimate rap superstar Tupac Shakur at Coachella Festival earlier in the month – and MJ may even be taken on tour alongside the Jackson 5.

Ever since hologram Tupac magnificantly walked on stage at the Californian festival alongside Dr Dre and Snoop Dogg, there have been calls for all kinds of dead celebirites to be brought back to life – with Dre himself hoping that Jimi Hendrix and Marvin Gaye get the hologram treatment. But, of all the musicians and performers who have left us in the past century, it was always going to be Michael Jackson – who is featured in the Guiness World Records as the most successful entertainer of all-time – who topped the list.

Now, his brother Jackie has kicked off rumours that MJ will be recreated, and even told The Sun that the idea of an hologram was something they'd already thought about.

Speaking to the tabloid paper, Jackie was asked whether he thought Jackson would be reproduced as a hologram Tupac, and replied: “It could have been Michael — absolutely. Wouldn’t that be wonderful? As a matter of fact, we had that idea two years ago for Michael’s Cirque du Soleil show.”

A source went on to tell the paper: “As always with Michael’s estate and creating new art with his image, there will be a lot of politics to navigate. But we've all seen how well it can be done now. It could be the most lucrative world tour of all time.” The source added that a tour alongside his brothers and sisters in the Jackson 5 would be 'the most lucrative of all time.'
