Manchester-based electronic pop duo Picture Book have announced that their remix EP ‘At Long Last’ will be hitting shelves on May 7th.
Picture Book’s self-released debut EP ‘At Last’, which was described as ‘an inspiring debut’ by iTunes, has spawned 100 blog placements, over 100,000 online plays, 7,000 downloads, spot plays from Danny Howard (BBC Radio 1), Sister Bliss (MOS), Steve Smarts (Kiss Radio) and Eddy Temple Morris (Xfm) and a number 7 hit on Hype Machine.
The electronic-dance duo are now preparing to follow up with a remix EP - ‘At Long Last’. ‘At Long Last’ will include reworking’s of the lead track Sunshine, which has already been dubbed ‘the first club anthem of 2012’ by EQ Music Blog, and the duo’s live interpretation of Jealousy and Surrender, two songs from the original EP.
Remix contributions have been made by nu-disco electro-dance genius Justin Faust, drum n’ bass lovers June Miller and Garage producers Shooting Horses. It also includes an extended mix by Hugo Leclercq – a.k.a Madeon – who’s currently one of the world's hottest DJs and producers – and it’s all under-pinned by Grammy nominated Great Svabo Bech's soaring vocals.
