Alternative rock trio Ben Folds Five have announced a November and December UK tour following their recent reunion following an eight year split.
Comprised of frontman Ben Folds, bassist Robert Sledge and drummer Darren Jessee, Ben Folds Five split in 2000 but got back together for a one-off performance for MySpace in 2008. The band couldn't fend off their want of a reunion, and got together to record three new tracks for the Ben Fold compilation album 'The Best Imitation of Myself: A Retrospective'.
Since then, it's been revealed that the band have been working on a new album, and announced that they'll be performing at the Bonnaroo Festival in Tennessee, the DeLuna Festival in Florida, and the Mountain Jam Festival in New York. Now, they've announced a UK tour – a trip which may conincide with the release of the aforementioned new album.
The tour will see the band playing in Manchester, Leeds, Birmingham, London and more, with ticket prices starting at £27.50 + fees – with the exception of the London date, which starts at £30.00 + fees.
