Anderson, McGinty, Webster, Ward And Fisher To Support Kassidy On Summer UK Tour

Anderson, McGinty, Webster, Ward and Fisher are pleased to announce support tour dates with Kassidy, joining them on tour across England in May and June. The band is currently touring across the UK showcasing their debut album.
Anderson, McGinty, Webster, Ward and Fisher may well be a mouthful, but they are worth tasting. Forged on the banks of the River Tay, the Dundee-rooted musical collective (“We think of ourselves more as that than as a ‘band’,” says Anderson) are centred around three singers – Stevie Anderson, Gavin McGinty, Dave Webster – who all bring their individual songs to the table. Billy Fisher and Robbie Ward complete their line-up.
Coming together in August 2011, A,M,W,W&F retreated to the secluded Perthshire hills to make music together. Spawned from an intensive 3-day session at T-Pot Studios and mixed by the band and Mike Brown at Gardyne Road Studios in Dundee, the band produced their eponymously titled debut album, to be released May 14th 2012.
With word of mouth spreading, an impressive 500 limited edition CD's selling out at a multimedia launch show at the Gardyne Theatre in Dundee and online videos racking up the hit’s, A,M,W,W & F are keeping their level heads down in their music, not ones to be fazed by the buzz surrounding them.
Says McGinty. “I don’t really think about it as being a buzz.” “It just feels really natural,” Webster adds. “It doesn’t feel like there’s any big aim or goal. We just all really enjoy playing together. I think that’s coming across in the music as well".
