The Chapman Family Announce Release of New EP 'Cruel Britannia'

The Chapman Family have signed to Best Before Records and are set to release their EP ‘Cruel Britannia’ on 18th June 2012 followed by more new material expected later this year.

The Chapman Family will be playing at this year's The Great Escape on Friday the 11th at the Best Before Records Showcase at LIFE, 9.00pm.

Self-produced ‘Cruel Britannia’ showcases their best song writing to date, continuing their reign as one of the best alternative bands in the country.

New line-up changes see The Chapman Family expand to five members (Kingsley vocals/keyboard, Pop lead guitar, Owen guitar, Scott drums and Kevin bass) reaching a new level of intensity live, while broadening their creative reach in the studio.

'No More Tears', 'Cruel Britannia', 'English Life' and 'Summer Song' roar against a culture being swallowed up by idleness and intolerance. Harder, faster and louder this time, with the EP ending on a dark, melancholic note in the form of The Smiths cover ‘Every Day Is Like Sunday’. The EP will be available for pre-order, along with many other TCF goodies at www.pledgemusic.com
