Biffy Clyro Trying To Reclaim 'Lost Fans' With New Album

Scottish rockers Biffy Clyro have revealed that they hope to regain some of their 'lost fans' with their forthcoming double album 'The Land at the End of Our Toes' and 'The Sand at the Core of Our Bones'.

The release will the band's sixth studio album, and will see them return to their grittier original sound on some tracks – something which drummer Ben Johnston hopes will reclaim some of the fans who loved their original album 'Blackened Sky'.

Speaking to NME, Jonhston said: “We never think of any target audience when making albums. We've always tried to please ourselves and then hope for the best. When you're younger you want bands to be just your band. When these bands get more well-known and bigger it's common to just fade away from them. It's sad...because we don't want to lose any fans. Hopefully we can get those lost fans back with this album.”

The two-disc LP is set to hit shelves later this year – stay with Stereoboard to find out more in the near future.

Biffy Clyro UK & Ireland Tour Dates are as follows:

Fri June 8th 2012 - Donington Park, Castle Donington
Fri June 22nd 2012 - Seaclose Park, Newport
