Duran Duran's Simon Le Bon Injured Onstage In South America

Duran Duran frontman Simon Le Bon injured himself whilst performing on stage in Argentina over the weekend, but has reassured fans that he won't be pulling out of any of their up and coming gigs.

The star was attempting to run off stage when he twisted his knee, leaving him in pain and and very much in need of ice. He spent the rest of the day with his feet up – but will continue his tour dates as scheduled.

Writing through his Twitter, Le Bon said: “Very cleverly managed to twist my knee, running off stage in BA; had to ice & elevate all I could. Might ask someone to wheel me onstage tmo... on a big brass bed... with a martini... and a lobster... on a lead with a studded collar...”

He added: “I called up the excruciatingly named "WhateverWhenever" and requested an ice bucket; gentleman the other end asked "what flavour?”

Duran Duran will continue their scheduled tour dates as expected, and will tour Europe this summer. Click here to Compare & Buy Duran Duran Tickets at Stereoboard.
