Blink 182 Forced To Cancel US Tour Dates

Pop-punk superstars Blink 182 have unfortunately had to cancel a range of their US tour dates after drummer Travis Barker was forced to undergo an emergency operation.

Barker, who has fallen ill, is apparently in desperate need of an tonsillectomy, which will keep him and Blink 182 out of the live scene until he’s made his recovery, something which the rest of the band think will ‘extend beyond the scheduled tour dates’.

This means that the band won’t play the remainder of their US tour, which was scheduled to run for another seven shows, and potentially could even affect UK dates – though that is thought to be unlikely at this stage.

The band will only be re-scheduling a handful of the shows, meaning some will be cancelled outright – with Blink saying in a statement: “The band apologises for any inconvenience as a result of these cancelations and thanks their fans for their on-going support.” It’s the second time the band have had to reschedule or cancel tour dates, after they moved some of their shows to give them time to complete their latest album ‘Neighbourhoods’.

If you’re a fan of the band, you’ll be able to catch them on one of their many up and coming UK tour dates. Check the dates and details below to get yourself tickets.
